Currently jdbc catalog does not support json or jsonb data.
It is a pain to export data via csv and deal with other issues it creates.
Starrocks already supports json type, or it could expose those fields as text.
Can you create a RFE github issue on this?
If you haven’t tried Sling (Add more usage examples to StarRocks · Issue #140 · slingdata-io/sling-cli · GitHub) … that’s a pretty easy way to move data from one system to another. I tested it with binary data the other day and it worked just fine.
